Colleen Waldeck Joins Jericho Brokerage Team

ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Colleen Waldeck, who has joined the New York, Jericho office.

Colleen graduated cum laude from Farmingdale State University, acquiring a B.S. Degree in Business Management. While still in college Colleen began her insurance career as an intern at CBS Coverage Group. During the 2 years she was there, she helped develop marketing materials in the law division for various E&O products including Lawyers Professional Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Cyber Security Liability. She also researched prospective client data to help implement strategies to develop new broker relations.

Right out of college, Colleen was hired at Program Brokerage Corporation (PBC). There she began as an Account Executive, acting as a liaison between clients and underwriters facilitating solutions for hard to place accounts in the marketplace. She worked with various kinds of risks which included Medical practices, Law firms, Architects, Engineers, and Financial institutions. Her focus being D&O, E&O, EPLI, Fiduciary, Crime, and Medical Malpractice.

Collen Waldeck has been in the insurance industry over 5 years now, working in the professional liability space. Currently she is “very happy” to be at ARC on Maria Treglia’s team, with whom she previously worked with at PBC. Colleen’s focuses at ARC include all D&O and E&O lines of business, specializing in the placement of new and renewal business for various kinds of risks. Colleen is a noteworthy resource to retail brokers with her ability to evaluate policy language, by providing coverage comparisons, and giving detailed marketplace analysis to service and manage accounts.

On her down time she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
