Christopher J. Cavallaro is the Managing Director and one of the co-founders of ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC. He began his career in 1974 with American International
Group, and remained there until 1986. He left American International Group as a Senior Vice President of both the Management Liability and Professional Liability products
written by National Union Fire Insurance Company for commercial accounts.
Mr. Cavallaro, who is one of the most recognized figures in the insurance industry, has given numerous speeches and has written several articles concerning
Management Liability and Professional Liability. He is a past president (1999) of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), an organization with over 6,000
members who specialize in Management Liability and Professional Liability Insurance. He is also the recipient of the PLUS One award for outstanding contributions to the
Management and Professional Liability insurance industry. In addition, Mr. Cavallaro has also received the PLUS Founder’s Award for outstanding contributions to (PLUS)
Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
