Todd Horwitz
Todd Horwitz joined ARC Excess and Surplus in January 2007 to broaden the firm’s footprint into the southern United States, the first undertaking of which was the establishment of ARC South, LLC, based in Atlanta, Georgia. As Partner and Director of ARC South, Todd’s responsibilities include client and agency servicing, insurer relations, staff management, and overall accountability for each and every insurance program delivered to our clientele.
Prior to joining the ARC organization, Todd held the position of Senior Vice President with Aon’s Financial Services Group, working in the company’s Atlanta, Georgia, and Houston, Texas offices. During his eight-year tenure with Aon, Todd represented clients from diverse sector and industry groups, structuring management and professional liability insurance programs ‘start-to-finish’ (inclusive of exposure identification and assessment; creation of risk profile / submission material; program design, negotiation and execution; and claims advocacy). In addition, while based out of Aon’s Houston office, Todd served in a management role supervising the staff and overseeing the entire account portfolio for the local Financial Services Group team.
Todd’s more than decade of experience in the management and professional liability insurance arena also includes several years of underwriting with Chubb’s Executive Protection Practice.
Further, Todd has been a speaker and panelist at RIMS chapter conferences, and has been solicited by multiple insurers to contribute language drafting commentary on new policy forms.
Todd graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
