Team Bios

Scott Farrell

Scott has been with ARC for more than twelve years now. He is currently Branch manager, specializing in Management and Professional liability for all industries. Before joining ARC Scott earned a B.A. degree from Boston College. After graduating from school, he enjoyed a productive three- year stint at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies before joining ARC. But, Scott is not all work and no play. When not at the office, Scott spends much of his free time with his wife and two kids golfing and boating.

Amanda Giannini

Amanda is a valued Broker at ARC and has been servicing clients and exceeding their needs for more than 18 years now with us. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Central Connecticut State University and then earned her Master of Arts at The University of Bridgeport before utilizing her education in real-world experiences at ARC. Amanda brings a great deal of energy to her work and a passion for exceeding client’s expectations. She is a driven Broker, always looking for the best solutions for her clients and never satisfied with the cookie cutter solution; which makes her a perfect fit within the ARC family.

Thomas McGraw

Thomas is Principal, co-owner and Broker at ARC New England and has been with the organization for more than nine years. He was the PLUS Hartford Chapter past Chairman and President. His vast expertise mostly resides in Healthcare, Management and Professional Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. He was a Senior Healthcare Underwriter, D&O Product Manager at Executive Risk and Director, Healthcare at Travelers. He is always a sought after industry speaker and loves boating, fishing, golf, woodworking and classic cars.

Sandra Pesino

Sandra Pesino brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ARC Excess & Surplus of New England. Her specialties include navigating the needs of Health Care Organizations, placing Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability and Errors & Omissions coverage. She has worked in disparate areas of the insurance industry, from Medical Claims Benefit Analyst, Underwriter, Management of Package Programs, to Broker. She also worked as a Senior Underwriter for an MGA, specializing in Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance for niche markets and managed professional office package programs. In addition, Sandra spent 13 years underwriting personal lines for auto and property accounts for a national carrier, servicing independent agencies. Her career started in 1984, at Cigna Healthcare as a Medical Claims Benefit Analyst. Today, Sandra provides all this knowledge and her long list of accomplishments to help her clients at ARC Excess & Surplus of New England meet their goals.
