ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC is pleased to announce that Maria Treglia has been named Chief Marketing Officer effective immediately. As Chief Marketing Officer, Maria will help lead ARC’s marketing efforts across all ARC Companies where she will coordinate with our brokers to increase ARC’s visibility in the marketplace. Maria will be responsible for ARC’s branding and touting ARC’s knowledge, expertise, and services and help generating leads into new sources of business. Maria will also continue to manage her brokerage team at ARC that specializes in all forms of Management, Professional and Cyber Liability Insurance.
Maria joined ARC in 2014 to lead a new team at ARC focusing on D&O and E&O lines. Maria previously developed and ran the Management and Professional Liability wholesale division of Program Brokerage Corporation and was their Chief Sales Officer. She also spent ten years as an underwriter for Professional Liability, Directors & Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), CYBER and Crime/Fidelity coverage. She previously served as the Past President of The PLUS Foundation, Eastern Chapter Chair and is a current and active member of PLUS. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for IBANY (Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York) and is the co-chair for their Programming committee.
She graduated cum laude from the College of Insurance (now known as The School of Risk Management at St. John’s University) and she also holds both a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.
