John McKenna, Jr.

John is a Senior Broker responsible for policy review and placement services with claim advocacy. He’s been with ARC for more than 13 years. John graduated from Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY followed by Loyola College in Maryland, where he received a B.A. in History and Political Science. Prior to working at ARC, John spent four years at Professional Risk Facilities, a managing general agent specializing in the underwriting of Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. John began his brokerage career at ARC working alongside Chris Cavallaro on many of ARC’s largest accounts. Since then, John has developed a specialty in the areas of Directors and Officers Liability for both public and private companies; Errors and Omissions Liability, with a focus on financial institutions, including broker dealers, banks, investment managers; and other complex miscellaneous professional risks. He is a current member of Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and speaks regularly at broker dealer compliance conferences.
